Guidelines

Unbound welcomes articles from all those who are involved in higher education, especially those who work with adult students. We consider ourselves a learning community, extending beyond the classroom into the larger community. Accordingly, we welcome articles from all involved in education, from graduate students to administrators, faculty to corporate leaders, foundations to nonprofit interest groups to government officials. All who have ideas to share about the direction and future of education are welcome.

Submit an Idea

Please use this form for submitting your article idea, not to exceed 250 words. Your proposal will be reviewed by the Editorial Board; you will receive a reply, which may range from suggestions for reformulating your proposal, to suggestions for other UPCEA publications, to acceptance. If accepted, you will be invited to submit an article, following the specifications in the Guide for Writers.

We encourage contributors to consider a variety of potential forms: essays, commentaries, reports, interviews (whether of individuals or small groups), even video or audio content. Above all, we are seeking engaging and stimulating content, and we are open to many genres.
