In this 30-minute video, Jason Thompson, VP for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Western Governors University, provides a practical organizational change model to promote sustainable progress in diversity, equity and inclusion.  At the professional unit or institutional level, the ADKAR model can help foster Awareness of the need for change, Desire to support change, Knowledge to achieve change, Abilities needed to implement change and the ongoing Reinforcement needed to make change stick.  “One-time training won’t work because it’s too complicated an issue,” Thompson notes.
